Hello!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Florida State University. I study international conflict and cooperation, primarily within the context of MENA politics and American foreign policy. My dissertation focuses on the intersection of domestic and international politics to explain variation in third-party support for conflict actors. Methodologically, my work combines causal inference techniques for observational data, machine learning, and text-as-data methods.

My other projects examine the consequences of high-level diplomatic visits, with implications for interstate peace processes, host states’ policy concessions, recognition politics, and international oil trade.

Prior to FSU, I received my MA from New York University, and my BA from Temple University.
